Swimming
Swimming is a great way to improve fitness, tone up and burn calories. It’s low-impact too so there’s less risk of injury and it’s a great addition to other training programmes.
Great news for parents – kids swim free during school holidays!
Free Swimming (over 60’s)
People aged 60 and over can swim for FREE during public swimming sessions.
Transport – Buses: 6, 52, 206, 302, 187, 226
Tube and trains: Kensal Green, Kensal Rise, Willesden Junction, Willesden Green
Car parking available – 150 free parking spaces. Wheelchair access.
Over ten designated spaces. Some slopes and ramps, so some assistance might be needed.

Child safety in the Swimming Pool
All children under the age of 8 must be supervised by a parent, or adult over the age of 18 at all times when in the facility.
The child’s parent or responsible adult must decide what level of supervision each child needs in the light or his/her swimming ability and the water depth and features of the swimming pool.
As a minimum, children under the age of 8 must be accompanied in the water at all times by a parent, or adult over the age of 18. One adult may accompany and fully supervise no more than two children under the age of 8 years.
Pool Water Hygiene
Please help us to keep the pool water clean and clear for your bathing enjoyment.
Before entering the pool:
- Use the toilet
- Have a shower
- Blow your nose
- Ensure that your swimwear is clean
- Ensure that babies/ small children wear swim nappies if required.
If you have had diarrhoea, you MUST NOT swim until you have been symptom free for at least 48 hours.
